Advertising & referral fee disclosure.
Lawsuit Center is not a law firm and doesn't accept clients or sign cases. The platform is paid two ways, both disclosed: paid placement on category pages, and referral or marketing fees from participating firms when a case review is connected to them. Referral fees, when applicable, are paid by the firm out of attorney fees — not as an additional cost to the client.
Sponsored law firm visibility.
Some law firms, advertisers, or legal marketing partners pay to appear on Lawsuit Center. Paid visibility may include sponsored listings, featured firm placements, category sponsorships, enhanced profiles, landing pages, or other advertising placements.
Paid placements are identified where they appear. A paid placement is advertising. It is not a ranking, endorsement, guarantee, or recommendation by Lawsuit Center.
How case review connections are paid for.
When a case review request submitted through Lawsuit Center is connected to a participating law firm, that firm may pay Lawsuit Center a referral or marketing fee. The fee structure varies by firm and category and may be a flat fee, a per-contact fee, or a percentage of the attorney's fee on a resulting case.
The fee is paid by the firm out of the firm's attorney fees — not as an additional cost to the client. A client connected to a firm through Lawsuit Center pays the same fee they would pay any other attorney handling the same case on the same terms. Lawsuit Center does not accept clients and does not share in the client's portion of any recovery.
Where a referral fee is paid out of attorney fees on a contingency case, the arrangement is governed by applicable rules of professional conduct, including any requirements for written client consent. A participating firm is responsible for complying with those rules.
The fee does not change a visitor's rights, the firm's representation terms, or the outcome of any claim. Visitors who are connected to a firm are not obligated to retain that firm and are free to evaluate, compare, or hire any other attorney.
Lawsuit Center's editorial categorization is not for sale. A firm cannot pay to be listed in a category that doesn't match its actual practice area, and paid placement does not control whether a lawsuit category appears on the site at all.
Independently evaluate any firm.
Lawsuit Center does not guarantee the quality, experience, availability, or results of any attorney or law firm — whether paid placement, referral-connected, or otherwise.
Visitors should independently evaluate any attorney or law firm before hiring counsel. Factors to consider may include experience in the relevant practice area, jurisdiction, fee arrangements, communication, potential conflicts, disciplinary history, and overall fit for the specific situation.
What submitting information means.
If you submit information through Lawsuit Center, it may be shared with a participating law firm that has active intake in the relevant lawsuit category, under the terms in our privacy policy.
Submitting information does not guarantee that you qualify for a claim, that a firm will contact you, that a firm will offer representation, or that any compensation will be available. Submitting information does not create an attorney-client relationship with Lawsuit Center or with any law firm.
No attorney-client relationship is formed unless and until you sign a written agreement directly with a law firm.
Educational content vs. advertising.
Lawsuit Center's editorial content — category descriptions, claim patterns, exposure information, free tools — is developed independently of paid placement and referral arrangements. The goal is to help visitors understand lawsuit categories and possible next steps regardless of which firms pay for visibility.
Paid placement does not control whether Lawsuit Center publishes information about a lawsuit category. Lawsuit Center may update, revise, or remove content at its discretion. Where a category includes paid placement, the editorial categorization stays separate from the advertising.
